paper perfect

paper perfect

Ever since moving to Calgary and being away from most of my family and friends, I have had a sudden desire to buy cute paper products like stationary, journals, planners, etc. There's something about sending snail mail again since the 90's, or opening a colorful notebook to write down ideas or things you won't remember in your head. So far I have found some cute paper product designers such as Kate & BirdieRifle Paper Co., and Sarah Pinto. They all create adorable products that you can share with others or that you can enjoy on your own.

A new chapter: Calgary

I'm excited to say that I've moved to Calgary! I've been here for a week now. Things have been quite crazy, between getting things packed, and now unpacked. There's a lot to do here, and job opportunities seem better than in Halifax. I do miss Halifax, but I definitely do not regret leaving. I miss my family, friends, warmer air, and my old apartment. It's been freezing cold on and off in Calgary, which makes it a pain to go outside. I'm also partially relying on public transit at the moment, which also makes things difficult. Especially when I have no idea where I'm going. Calgary is a pretty big city but it's laid out nicely for people like me to find their way! I haven't had a lot of time to explore the city yet, but I plan on making more time for it soon. If anyone knows any cool places in Calgary, leave a comment!

PS. I will be posting my weekly/bi-weekly visits to the mountains shortly. I'm kind of obsessed with Banff.
